Se que el año entrante va a ser un año de trabajo en el que probablemente le podamos disfrutar en una serie de televisión, después de tantos años, y de momento en otra película.Sabe, porque así se lo he manifestado en reiteradas ocasiones, que soy una fiel seguidora de su trabajo y espero poder seguir siéndolo. Al mismo tiempo, porque le admiro y le aprec io, he de manifestarle que si algo de su trabajo no lo encuentro de su nivel, espero me disculpe si mi opinión no es muy favorable. Porque le quiero bien, se lo haré saber bajo el criterio de espectadora, nunca de crítica porque no lo soy:  simplemente aprecio un trabajo bien hecho, y hasta ahora no me ha defraudado. Pocas noticias tenemos en estos últimos días, y eso posiblemente se deba a que está inmerso en el trabajo a realizar.
El mayor de los éxitos es lo que le deseo, en el más cercano Sundance, en los Oscars, etc., en todos cuantos eventos acuda. Deseo que siga siendo  como es , consecuente y auténtico, porque eso es por lo que goza de los innumerables fans a lo largo del planeta. Un nuevo año está a punto de comenzar y deseo que le sea muy favorable a todos ustedes. Buena suerte y buenas noches, mi admirado Pierce.

Cassie, Pierce y los hijos de Cassandra de su primer matrimonio, adoptados posteriormente por Pierce al fallecimiento del padre de los niños.


On Decembrer 28, 1991, ceased to exist as a result of ovarian cancer, the actress Cassandra Harris, beloved wife or Pierce Brosnan. Dejaba viudo a un hombre totalmente derrumbado por la tragedia después de haber luchado por rescatarla de la terribe enfermedad con todas sus fuerzas y con todos los medios a su alcance de los que se disponía en aquella época.  Pero todo fué inútil:  ni la juventud ni los médicos puedieron hacer nada por esta bella mujer que dejaba huérfanos a dos hijos adolescentes y a un pequeño de ocho años.
La conmoción familiar fué tremenda: ninguno aceptaba la partida de aquella madre que dejaba desconsolado a un esposo enamorado y a unos hijos que no alcanzaban a comprender por qué su madre querida, les había dejado tan prematuramente.
A Pierce, le costó mucho tiempo superar su péridda y buscaba en el tranajo refugio a su dolor, al tiempo que tenía que consolar a unos hijos que lloraban la muerte de su madre, sobretodo el pequeño no entendía nada, y es que es muy difícil de explicar a un niño por qué la vida te plantea situaciones difíciles. de asimilar.
Un año más nuestro recuerdo para esta valiente mujer que nunca dejó de luchar contra la enfermedad, pero que inevitablemente fué vencida por ella. Mi recuerdo es para ti, Cassie, donde quiera que estés.

La afición de Pierce por la pintura data de los días en que su primera esposa Cassandra cayó enferma. Muchas veces él ha declarado que necesitaba dar salida al estrés acumulado por las preocupaciones de la enfermedad de Cassie y fué cuando comenzó a pintar. El estudío en Londres antes de dedicarse a la interpretación, dibujo artístico y de esta manera pudo dar rienda suelta a su imaginación creando una magnífica colección de cuadros que han servido para financiar sus obras benéficas.

CURIOSIDADES

PIERCE, ataviado con un  traje de escena tras su intervención en Mamma mia.  En estrevistas él ha comentado que al rodarse esta película en los estudios de Londres tenía que pasar por delante del set de rodaje de James Bond. Todavía estaba "fresca" la herida  por la cancelación de su trabajo en esa saga de espias. " Dios mio, si me ve Saniel Craig"....  Se sentía como un poco humillado al verse de esa guisa y pudiera darse la circunstancia de que los dos últimos James Bond se cruzaran en el camino inesperadamente. Pierce ha continuacdo con su carrera con éxitos, hasta el punto de estar nominado como mejopr actur de reparto en su intervención en The ghost writer. Daniel por el contrario y debido a las dificultades que atraviesa MGM, de momento la productora ha suspendido el rodaje de esa sere de películas. Daniel Craig, es un magnífico actor que encontrará el papel adecuado a su buen hacer como actor. Sólo es cuestión de tiempo, y  hasta igual le favorece al no encasillarse en ese papel tan carismático y a la vez tan absorbente. Mucha suerte a los dos, se merecen triunfar por todo lo alto. Tienen una calidad interpretativa muy alta y son versátiles a cualquier papel.
